Freedom is a very personal journey. One that no one else can fully define for you. And I believe it’s each and every one of our soul’s work to discover freedom and fulfillment for one’s self, so that in turn, we can inspire others around us to do the same.

As a multi-hyphenate professional and creator, freedom for me means the ability to exist, work, and create across multiple passions in any season of life. More specifically, I believe that when you find the sweet spot between your creative pursuits, your spiritual path, and your livelihood–you’ve hit the jackpot that many call: purpose.

There is an ancient Japanese concept called “ikigai,” that means "a reason to live" and is a broad idea that can refer to a passion that gives joy and value to life. Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means "a reason to live" and is a broad idea that can refer to a passion that gives joy and value to life. It's a combination of the words iki, which means "to live" or "alive", and gai, which means "reason" or "benefit.”

Ikigai is a state of well-being that comes from being devoted to activities that are enjoyable and fulfilling. Ikigai encourages people to find what's important to them and live a life full of joy and purpose. It's a lifestyle that balances the spiritual and the practical, and it's about finding joy, fulfillment, and balance in your daily life. It's not about thinking in silos, where your job, family, passions, and desires are all separate and unrelated aspects of your life. But rather, it’s about living one’s life at the intersection of what you love, what the world needs, what you're good at, and what you can get paid for–to create abundance and overflow in all the areas of life you find meaningful. This concept, for me, is a beautiful example of what it looks like to live a life of freedom and fulfillment.
